To make your steam engine even more attractive, you can build a true-to-original steam system using the components available here. All components are made of brass and stainless steel. Here you will find everything you need for a steam system as accessories, from steam whistles to real glass oilers.
These glass oilers for model making are made from brass. The sight glass is made of impact-resistant acrylic glass. Both sizes have a connection thread with an M3 meter standard thread. The glass oilers have a fixed flow rate. The flow hole is 1.0mm. The oilers are designed as cup oilers and do not have a top lid. The real glass oilers can be installed on cylinders of flame eaters and Assemble Stirling engines. Of course, the glass oilers also look very good on eccentrics, bearing blocks of steam engines or internal combustion engines.
The oilers are available in 2 different sizes.
Dimensions of glass oiler 6mm cannot be adjusted
Total height: 20.5mm
Diameter glass: 5mm

Oil cup made of brass with M3 or M4 connection thread. For screwing into steam engines, flame eaters and Stirling engines. The oil cups are ideal for technical modeling. The oil quantity is not adjustable on these oilers. The through hole is 1.2 mm in diameter. The speed of the flow depends on the viscosity of the oil. The Olerbecher can be filled with different oils.
Dimensions of the oil cup:
Connection thread: M3 / M4
Overall Height: 23mm
Height screwed: 19mm
Diameter: 12mm
These glass oilers for model making are made from brass. They have a connection thread with a meter standard thread. The flow rate can be regulated very precisely using the hexagon on top of the oiler. A spring prevents the spindle from shifting due to vibrations. The real glass oilers can be mounted on cylinders of flame eaters and Stirling engines. Of course, the glass oilers also look very good on eccentrics and bearing blocks of steam engines. We installed the 12mm glass oilers on our model Dürkopp plunger engine.
Dimensions of glass oiler 12mm adjustable
Total height: 40mm
Diameter glass: 10mm
Largest diameter: 12mm
Connection thread: M5
This safety valve is made of brass. It is significantly smaller than the weight safety valve. This makes it suitable for smaller boilers or steam systems. The safety valve is loaded with a stainless ball and spring. The screw-in thread of the pressure relief valve is M6x0.75. Our soldering sockets are best suited, which are soldered into the boiler in order to subsequently screw in the safety valve. Under no circumstances should a steam boiler be operated without a safety valve. The safety valve prevents the maximum pressure from being exceeded. The safety valve is set to 4bar, but can be adjusted. Dimensions of safety valve: Height with thread: 37mm Height without thread: 31mm Wrench size: 10 mm The matching Solder sleeve M6x0.75 can be found here.
Check valves are installed in steam model construction between the feed water pump and the boiler. They are intended to prevent the boiler pressure from escaping via the feed water pipe. You can get the check valve from us in two different versions. You get it both as a straight-through check valve and as an angle check valve. The check valves have soldering nipples and union nuts. The desired copper pipe can simply be softly soldered into the means. The corner check valve can be inserted directly into a M6x0.75 The soldering socket must be screwed into the boiler. The check valves are spring loaded and work in any position. The flow direction is engraved on the valves.

The displacement oiler for steam model making is made of brass, then brazed and sandblasted. The oiler is installed in the steam supply line to the machine. The oil filler plug seals with a cone and O-ring. The bottom screw has an M6x0.5mm thread. The glass cylinder made of Schott Duran glass is melted on both sides. In addition, the glass cylinder is sealed on both sides with an O-ring. The stud bolts and nuts are made of stainless steel. To adjust the amount of oil, the oil hole Ø 0.7mm can be drilled out. With this displacement oiler you can add another beautiful detail to your model steam system. The hot steam oil is filled in at the top and the condensate can be drained using the lower drain screw. Of course, you can also fill in the hot steam oil with a syringe, and the condensate can also be sucked out from above using the syringe cannula without opening the drain screw at the bottom . Displacement oiler for continuous oiling of steam engines in live steam operation. The oil filler plug and the drain plug for cleaning are sealed with O-rings. The displacement oiler is made entirely of brass. The cone soldering nipples are for 4mm pipe and the union nut has SW 8. With this displacement oiler you can add another beautiful detail to your model steam system. The The displacement oiler is filled with hot steam oil and sealed before the boiler is heated. During operation, the steam is passed through the oiler. A certain proportion of the resulting condensation settles in the displacement oiler and displaces the oil. The displaced oil is now taken along in the steam line and automatically conveyed to the steam engine. After the system has been operated, the drain plug is unscrewed and the condensation water is drained. If you always want to keep an eye on the fill level of your displacement oiler, you can find a Glass displacement oiler.Dimensions Displacement oiler Length with union nuts: 34mm Diameter: 10mm

Steam whistle with brass whistle valve with stainless steel slide. The steam whistle for model making is connected to the valve with a 3mm copper pipe, so that it can also be installed separately (e.g. valve driver's cab whistle; wherever there is space). The valve can easily be operated by hand or via remote control via servo. The valve's lever can be modified so that the whistle valve can be triggered by either pull or pressure. The scope of delivery includes the pipe, the valve, a 150mm long piece of 3mm soft copper pipe, 2 lock nuts, 2 union nuts and 2 soldering nipples included. The steam whistle has a clean and rich tone and is suitable for steam ships, steam locomotives and stationary model building systems. With this steam whistle you can add another beautiful detail to your model steam system.
