Blockade® braze is a phosphorus-tin-silicon braze for soldering copper and brass with a very low working temperature (650°C). This hard solder can be used as an alternative to the significantly more expensive Ag-55 silver solder (working temperature 630°C). Blockade has good flow properties, the soldering gap fills very quickly and forms an evenly formed groove at the soldering point with a smooth surface.

Blockade® brazing solder is suitable for hat soldering copper and copper alloys, such as brass, bronze, gunmetal. You will receive a flux-coated rod from us and do not need any other additives or fluxes. The flux-coated brazing rods are suitable for all flame brazing processes as well as for induction heating and oven brazing. Blockade is used in the refrigeration, air conditioning and electrical industries. We at Bengs Modellbau are now increasingly using brazing solder in our model making workshop.

In order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, we cut the brazing rods into 2 equal parts. You will then receive 2 pieces from us with a length of 250 mm. For larger quantities or when sending parcels, you will receive the brazing rods in the original length of 500 mm.
