Flux-coated High-silver Brazing Alloy
Product information "Flux-coated High-silver Brazing Alloy"
For the somewhat coarser soldering work in the model making, craft or industry, we have flux coated silver solder bars with the diameter 1,5mm or 2mm. The flux range for the silver solder is between 500 ° C and 800 ° C. A further addition of brazing flux is not necessary. Of course, these silver solder bars also consist of the high-quality Lot L-Ag55 with the working temperature of 630 ° C. Especially when brazing brass, a low working temperature is of crucial importance. The high silver content in the solder not only reduces the working temperature, but also improves the flow properties. Furthermore, silver has the positive property of combining well with other metals.
Silver solder rods coated with flux are suitable for brazing brass, copper, heavy metals, rusting steels and stainless steel. All materials can, of course, also be joined together. The advantage of these flux-coated silver solder bars is that you do not need any additional flux. In our model magazine you will find a guide how to braze flux-coated silver brace brakes.
