The generator can be driven via a belt by a flame eater, Stirling engine, steam engine or an internal combustion engine to convert kinetic energy into electrical energy. If desired, you can also use this dynamo as a historical electric motor by simply supplying it with 12 volts. The model is based on a historical generator. The drive model visually matches Wilesco steam engines or drive models very well.
The generator housing is made of plastic and was manufactured using the 3D printing process. The generator is standard electric motor. The electric motor generates electricity when it is driven. Screws and pulley are made of brass.
