This honing device is an ideal tool for model makers for honing bores. With the honing device you can significantly improve the surface quality of cylinder bores, for example. The small honing devices are suitable for producing cylinder bores for Stirling engines, steam engines or flame eaters. When working with the honing device, you should always use plenty of cutting oil.

The honing device consists of a bolt that is clamped into a drill chuck, two spring flat steels and two movably mounted grinding stones. The grinding stones are pressed evenly by the spring flat steels. The honing device can be clamped into a hand drill or used on a lathe. If the grinding stones of the honing device are worn out, you can of course get a replacement from us.
Material reduction 0.01mm to 0.02mm
We have been using the honing device in our workshop for years to hone cylinder bores on our flame eaters.
